Ashley's Bout with Auto-Immune Disease

While visiting in Virginia Ashley was stricken with a brain injury. Her symptoms did not point to a conclusive diagnosis. Within a week the concensus was acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) a neurological disorder characterized by inflammation of the brain and spinal cord caused by damage to the myelin sheath. Myelin insulates the neurofibers that carry signals throughout the brain. Myelin can regrow, but the amount and time varies in each case.

August 3rd

Hello baseball fans! Ashley will be sitting in Row 'Z' of section 101 (first base line) for Thursday's Fort Wayne Tincaps game. We hope to see you there!
