Ashley is coming home!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After working with a couple of different vendors we finally got Ashley's bed delivered and installed this evening. Tomorrow we will be driving Ashley home. On Thursday she will have her first appointment with her out-patient therapy team here in Fort Wayne.
Ashley (and Mary) are anxious to get home. While there will be a whole new set of challenges to adapt too it will be great to have the family back together again.
While it was not easy having Ashley so far from home yet we were blessed that she was admitted to the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. It will be hard to say goodbye to all the loving and supportive staff that did so much for Ashley.
Ashley continues to keep her focus on recovering and we have faith that she has reached the stage where she can be at home and properly continue her rehabilitation.
A heartfelt thank you to all of you for your on going prayers for Ashley and our family. Your support has helped us to keep our faith strong and to provide Ashley with the encouragement she needs.

I have to see what my dance schedule is before I can come home, but as soon as I do, you know I'll be there! It's been WAY too long since I've seen you, Ash!!
Oh, I am just ready to burst at the seams, I'm so happy!

Dear Ashley,
O my goodness, as I opened your dad's blog today I just saw the word home and I freaked out! Ashley, I am so excited for you! I know how hard you have been working and I can't imagine how happy you must be! YAY HOME! YAY Ashley! (picture me screaming those phrases while jumping up and down) haha!
After you get all settled in at home, I would definitely love to come and visit you! I saw Sam was coming home this weekend maybe I'll get a hold of her and we both can come! YAY Ashley! Ohh I'm so excited! See you soon!
XOXO, Holly
Ashley, we are so grateful for you! You have touched our lives in such a sweet way. I must say, I have always been so impressed with your spirit and bubbling personality! Rachel and Ryder loved to have you babysit, as did Joe and I.
I just talked with the Markley's who filled us in on your recovery to date and your homecoming. As a physical therapist, I know you have put in a lot of work in your recovery. I would love to help out in anyway to make your transistion home a smooth one. Ashley, I will "work out" with you anytime; consider some free therapy! I could just come visit just to keep you accountable; to be sure you're doing what your therapist tells you to do;-)!
God has surely blessed you with such a wonderful, loving family and also, as I have read, with so many friends who care about you and want to welcome you home. Ashley you are truely beautiful, inside and out!
You are in our prayers. We love you Ashley!

For our christmas presents this year the Wittes asked me to visit your website and say prayers. I think this is the greatest gift I can give to you and your family. I am Mrs Wittes sister and I would like to welcome you home. You sound like a very strong woman and we all can learn from you and your strenght.
