Ashley is Home!!!
For once we had a moving day unhampered by a fever or bad weather. We can attribute that to all the prayers that must have been said by all of you!
We got home late last night. Ashley handled the ride quite well. Her new room is still under construction but Ashley doesn't seem to mind; she had a good night's sleep.
On Thursday Ashley will meet her new therapy team here in Fort Wayne. We are confident that being home will have even more positive impact on Ashley's continued recovery.
It is great having the family back together!

We have all been praying for you and are so happy that you are home. Keep up all the hard work and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you!

I for one know what a wonderful feeling you all are having. There is nothing like it. To have the family altogether is miraculous after what you all have been through. Ashley, you now have a lot more to look forward to than just a hospital. Wait till spring comes and you can see and hear the birds. You are going to do even better than you know being around your family and your things and a whole new way to start out 2008. Kevin asks about you all the time and as soon as we get a chance we will call. You are on a new journey and you will do very well.
Remember, if there is anything we can do or anything you want, please let us know. Our prayers are with you each and every day.

hey ashley its your tall, giant, cousin alex. Im so happy that you arrived home safely yesterday! Haven't really talked to austin lately. All my friends that came with me to see you on new years ask how you are doing all the time! We miss you ash. Tell everyone at Fort Wayne Aquatics that i will be back for next season!!! HAHAHHA

I got to see your dad at the SAC meet last weekend and he was telling me about your house renovations... I hope it all turned out well, and I'll be home next weekend so maybe I'll try to make it over to see you on Dartford Court!!! I love you Ashley Marie and remember DON"T QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was so wonderful to see you in your home today! You and your mom look great and happy to be home. Thanks for all the laughs. We'll see you again soon.
